Highlights of the Tour

Atlantic Avenue – Where most of these tour hotspots are, Atlantic Avenue is the main road through downtown Delray Beach, with a multitude of boutique shops, galleries, and restaurants.

Pineapple Grove – An art district with colorful murals and public galleries, along with local art studios, and casual or upscale restaurants like Papa’s Tapas, El Camino, and Brulé Bistro.

Arts Garage – Close to the Pineapple Grove area, Arts Garage features live music and performances, along with art exhibitions and theater.

Cornell Park – A small community park with walking trails and open space areas for a relaxing stroll shaded by pine trees. Great for bike riding and dog walking as well.

Cason Cottage House Museum – The Cason family were pioneers in medicine, law, politics, education, agriculture, and banking, and owned the first private tennis court in Delray. Today, their home stands as a historic house museum, offering visitors a look back into the 1920s and 1930s and giving more insight into the family and their impact on Delray.

Delray Beach City Hall – Centrally located, Delray Beach’s City Hall is just minutes away from the downtown area, filled with many of the hotspots mentioned, and the beach, also one of the sights on this tour.

Cornell Art Museum – Located in Old School Square inside the restored 1913 Delray Elementary School building, the Cornell Art Museum features seven exhibition galleries that continuously refresh and change the national and international displays of fine contemporary art.

Delray Municipal Beach – With clear waters and soft sands, this beach is the heart of the beach scene in Delray, with lifeguards on duty all year round. It’s right at the east end of Atlantic Avenue, providing easy access to the variety of shops down the road.
